Nome Manufacturing started as a custom design and fabrication company catering to both private clients and the trade including architects, interior designers, furniture/accessory designers, and retail businesses. Nome was founded by Brian McGowan (ILK NY) and Jerry Nance (Jerry Nance) by combining over 40 years of custom design & fabrication experience.

Alongside Nome’s product offerings, we continue to offer the custom services that our business was founded on. As we have primarily worked in high-end interior furnishings, Nome is equipped to handle a diverse range of custom projects, using materials that span from metal and glass to stone and wood. Our strength lies in turning client visions into reality through modern fabrication processes, while maintaining a hand-crafted aesthetic to both bespoke and limited-run pieces.

  • Full woodworking capabilities including but not limited to: CNC Routing, Sawing, Jointing, Planing, Resawing, Veneer Work, Vacuum Pressing, Sanding, Routing, Shaping, Solid wood and sheet goods.

  • Full Metalworking capabilities including but not limited to: Machining, Welding, Sawing, Casting, Custom Hardware production, brass and bronze work, soldering/brazing, polishing, nickel/brass/copper plating.

  • We work closely with the best providers in both industries: CNC stone and glass cutting, tempering, mirrors, low iron glass & mirror, marble.
